GUYMASTER Release Notes For version 2.0.0 as of November 02, 2008 ----------------------------------------- 1. Analysis for AU 3995:1994 standard was added. 2. Analysis of monopole structures for CSA S37 standard was added. 3. Now you can reference an existing material in the "Material Types" table from the drop-down list. 4. More flexibility with the Loading Conditions list: a. Insert a new loading condition into any position in the loading conditions list. b. Copy an existing loading condition and insert it into any position in the loading conditions list. c. Delete multiple loading conditions by using the check boxes beside each loading condition and "Delete Checked" option from the right click menu. d. "Quick Replace" was added to allow the user to replace any value(s) in the Wind Loading table in any loading condition(s) with minimum input. In the dialog box enter the value(s) to change and the loading conditions to which the changes apply, and the program will make the changes automatically. 5. The software now "remembers" standard and units last used. 6. Now you can run "Calculate Loads" and "Analyze Tower" separately or combine them into one run. 7. The problem with the last empty row in the "Discrete Appurtenances" table was fixed. 8. Two new parameters, called "Top Distance" and "Top Azimuth", are added to the "Ladder Geometry" and "Transmission Lines" tables to position an appurtenance precisely. 9. Now you can position discrete appurtenances by center point or end point. The new option was added to all supported standards. 10. Previously the Calculate Loads module transferred the width of the defined passive reflector rather than the orientation azimuth to the Analyze Tower module. This problem was fixed in the CAN/CSA-S37-01 and TIA\EIA-222-F standards. 11. The new table called "Weight of Steel" was added to the TIA-222-G standard. In our further releases this table will be added to all supported standards. 12. In the calculation of the "Qz" (velocity pressure) for guys the "Kd" (wind direction probability factor) for appurtenances was used, but now it has been changed to the Kd for structure. 13. The "Capacity Ratio" table was always reported in imperial units even when the user requested metric units. The table now reports in the requested units.
